Sierra Wireless / SEMTECH

Sierra Wireless RV55 and RV50 series use SMA female for cellular, compatible with standard XPOL antennas. Check the antenna frequency specification covers 700-2700 MHz minimum.

Cradlepoint

Cradlepoint R1900 (5G) and IBR900/IBR1700 series use SMA female connectors. The R1900 has 4 cellular SMA ports requiring a 4-port MIMO antenna or two 2-port antennas for full 4×4 MIMO.

QuWireless Integrated Enclosures

QuWireless makes integrated enclosures for Teltonika routers — the router sits inside the antenna housing, eliminating cable loss entirely. The QuMax AX4000 (for RUTX50) and QuPanel 4G (for RUTX11/RUT360) are the key products. These are the best choice for fixed outdoor 5G deployments where cable loss at n78 frequencies would otherwise be significant.

Frequently Asked Questions
What antenna does the Teltonika RUTX11 need?
The RUTX11 has 4 SMA female antenna ports for cellular: MAIN and AUX for each of its two SIM modems (SIM1 and SIM2). For a single-SIM installation using SIM1, connect a 2-port MIMO antenna to the SIM1 MAIN and SIM1 AUX ports. The SIM2 ports can be terminated or connected to a second antenna for SIM2 diversity. A single 4-port MIMO antenna connecting all 4 ports simultaneously is valid if specified.
Can I use the same antenna for a Teltonika RUTX50 as for the RUTX11?
The RUTX50 is a 5G router with 4 cellular antenna ports plus a separate WiFi antenna set. The cellular ports use SMA female and require an antenna covering 600-3800 MHz for full 5G capability. The XPOL-2-5G covers this and is compatible. For best 5G performance, the QuWireless QuMax AX4000 integrated enclosure eliminates cable loss entirely and is the recommended solution for fixed RUTX50 deployments.
What antenna ports does the Peplink BR1 Pro have?
The Peplink BR1 Pro 5G has SMA female ports. Peplink labels them slightly differently to Teltonika — check the model variant as the port count varies. The BR1 Pro 5G typically has 2 cellular antenna ports. A dual-port MIMO antenna like the XPOL-2-5G covers this. For Peplink MAX Transit routers, check which antenna ports correspond to which modem as they have dual-modem variants.
